Sacrifice Of Praise

Do you ever feel like you’re not very good at worship? Like maybe you should just leave worship to those who are talented musicians? Well, the truth is that God simply loves it when we praise Him, no matter how “good” we are at singing! Even if the people around us aren’t impressed, our praise makes God happy. And, actually, if other people look down on us for praising God, that praise means even more to God than if other people love our singing voice. A long time ago, God’s people used to have to sacrifice animals in order to cleanse themselves from their sins. We don’t have to do that anymore because of what Jesus did for us on the cross (He was the final sacrifice for sin), but we can still offer God sacrifices of different kinds. When we worship God, even if we’re a little embarrassed, we’re offering God a sacrifice of praise!
