The Olivet Discourse

The Olivet Discourse is a passage in Matthew 24-25, Mark 13, and Luke 21:5-36. Its name comes from the Mount of Olives where Jesus told his disciples what to expect in the end times. This passage in Scripture is a great place to start if you would like to start learning what God has to say about the end times. Like many end-times passages, there are many views on what exactly the Olivet Discourse means, but, no matter what you believe, we can all heed Jesus’ warnings to expect persecution, avoid falling away, and be ready for His coming. One day Jesus will return for His people, and we should prepare for that day because no one knows exactly when it will be! Jesus wants us to know what’s coming, so let’s read the Olivet Discourse to see what God wants to tell us about the end times.
